I'm hoping you'll continue to make these predictions that we can all then follow and try and see what ends up being correct/incorrect (when/if you have the time of course). Been mostly quiet up until now because I don't have much to offer in terms of expertise etc but you aren't just yelling into a void, I'm sure there are more following along and find it very interesting. Without actually tracking anything in Excel or anything like that, it does seem over time that you've gotten better at filtering noise/false-positives, which is cool. Keep it up, this is all very interesting 👍 EDIT: Was just looking at planetary alignments and saw this cool lineup. Should we be expecting some fireworks on 11/26 would you say? We can predict where some sunspots will appear, but not all. So the activity can be on the Farside for the complex sunspots we calculated... The 10th had a purple line, which I think means a stronger planet line up and possibility of sunspots/activity. No, he did not predict spotless days, he hasn't been interested in spotless days, he seems interested in Killshots (his description) and high magnitude spots. If you predict enough, you will be correct eventually to convince someone, it's a frequency game. I could throw bones on my carpet and predict the latter half of January, February and March to have sunspots and flares during a Solar cycle, and if I get any flares or spots, I could claim the bones are accurate. However, few people would be convinced of the mechanism of the bone throwing, and not see the connection. Patrick uses planetary alignments and magnetic fields with loose enough definitions to be vaguely correct some of the time. So the birth of AR2906 was after noon December 13. Still think this could be the predicted one for December 14. It doesn’t have Mercury in it, so mildly complex.
