is it an early arrive?

Yes I would consider this early. I saw that some predictions was made on the evening of February 26th but they were low confidence. Most predictions have said around midnight. It's hard to calculate arriving times though.

Give the CME several hours and the velocities could reach around 650-750km/s.

That would be awesome. I'm patiently waiting to see if we will get some flux rope after the shock. We will probably know in in about 6-12 hours maybe depending on how it interacts with the ring current.

Yep it looks like something is arriving at least. On EPAM it sure looks like a CME but is a bit early to tell.

Could this early arrival instead be the solar wind from transequatorial Coronal Hole #79?  Whatever it is, it looks like it could generate storm conditions within the next few hours with a sustained Bz south.

I'm out of likes but wanna like all your posts haha.

But yes it does look promising right now and the predicted HPI rises pretty quickly. There are aurora observations from lower part of the high latitude region already.

Webkamery z České republiky zachytily velmi slabou červenou polární záři těsně nad obzorem jako před 15 minutami (50° severně).

And here again under a cloud. I look to the north and there is no star.

But in Kuehlungsborn, Germany, 54.12° N can be seen.
