Patrick P.A. Geryl
Sunspot 2808 I calculated everything 2 years ago. Took me 6 months to find the alignments for 3 years. Didn't double check, so faults are possible. Afterwards i had to make the calculations for the sunspots. So don't shoot me... but I found a wrong calculation... The Triple Line Up Vesta – Mercury – Pallas should have been related to the Opposition Mercury – Uranus across the Sun Sunspot 2808 / March 1 / Northern Hemisphere February 28 (04:00) February 26 (14:30) – 28 (17:15), 2021: Conjunction Venus – Pallas and the Sun February 27 (11:15) – March 1 (06:00), 2021 Triple Line Up Mercury - Venus – Neptune February 28 (04:00) – March 1 (11:45), 2021: Opposition Mercury – Uranus across the Sun March 1 (03:00)- 13 (20:00), 2021 Triple Line Up Vesta – Mercury – Pallas My guess is that the formula was split in 2... Sunspot 2806 becomes this... Sunspot 2806 / February 28 / Southern Hemisphere February 28 (04:00) February 26 (14:30) – 28 (17:15), 2021: Conjunction Venus – Pallas and the Sun February 27 (11:15) – March 1 (06:00), 2021 Triple Line Up Mercury - Venus – Neptune Sunspot 2807 becomes this... Sunspot 2807 / March 2 / Southern Hemisphere March 2 around 12:00 - 14:00 instead of March 3 (04:00) March 2 (12:45)- 7 (08:00), 2021 Triple Line Up Jupiter – Mercury – Earth March 3 (04:00) – 6 (08:0), 2021: Conjunction Vesta - Earth and the Sun This makes sense because sunspot 2808 is a long living sunspot (on stereo it was already active 8 days ago) and the others not! Sunspot 2808 / March 1 / Northern Hemisphere February 28 (04:00) February 28 (04:00) – March 1 (11:45), 2021: Opposition Mercury – Uranus across the Sun March 1 (03:00)- 13 (20:00), 2021 Triple Line Up Vesta – Mercury – Pallas The March 8 and 9 sunspots have to be on the farside. The next one could appear on this side and could be large: March 13 (23:30)? March 12 (14:45)- 15 (17:30), 2021 Triple Line Up Neptune – Venus – Earth March 1 (03:00)- 13 (20:00), 2021 Triple Line Up Vesta – Mercury – Pallas March 12 (22:45) – 15 (23:45), 2021: Opposition Vesta - Venus across the Sun March 13 (23:30) - 15 (21:45), 2021 Triple Line Up Mercury – Venus – Ceres March 14 (00:15) - 19 (02:30), 2021 Triple Line Up Mars – Venus – Saturn March 13 (23:30) - 15 (21:45), 2021 Triple Line Up Mercury – Venus – Ceres March 15 (12:15) – 17 (23:15), 2021: Conjunction Neptune – Venus and the Sun March 17 (04:00) - 23 (13:45), 2021 Triple Line Up Neptune – Venus – Vesta? Nothing about quakes/volcanoes here. Volcanoes erupt all the time around the world. There's nothing special about it. The interesting stuff is when new volcanoes form. You are doing more harm than good to the perception of Geryl's work, by attaching your stigmatic astrological mysticism to his predictions.

3gMike
We certainly seem to be seeing a more sustained period of sunspots - albeit at a relatively low level. At what (average) number of sunspots would you be ready to declare that we have reached the Terminator? Are you suggesting in your last post that we should expect to see sunspots for the remainder of March? Edited March 16, 2021 by 3gMike

Christopher S.
So Patrick, are you going to develop your technique and formulae to include probability as a useful metric? Right now, you don't distinguish between levels of confidence, i.e. no difference between 90% confidence in forecast vs 0.1% confidence. I feel that it would greatly enhance your predictions, if you were to discover a solid method to measure the efficacy of every possible alignment, weigh them against each other, and attribute simple and shorthand values to describe the tenacity of a given alignment. I'm certain some planetary bodies are more conducive to sunspot formation than others, and it may be of time-saving value to not merely include every "non-zero chance" scenario.

As of the information we have right now, there is too small of a chance of a super flare to even be worth a discussion about it. It sounds big and scary, it's just not a feasible thing that is going to happen - at least not in our lifetimes, I'm pretty sure. Maybe next cycle things will be a little more explosive, but that gives us plenty of time to do some independent research and refine prediction techniques.

The same was with my theory concerning the start of a new sunspot cycle. NASA thought in December 2019 it was months away, while it already happened! https://www.researchgate.net/publication/342766380_A_Formula_for_the_Start_of_a_New_Sunspot_Cycle Second: this has to happen today, but I don't know if it is on the Farside or on the Earthside April 20 (17:00) April 20 (16:30) - 24 (19:00), 2021 Triple Line Up Mars – Mercury – Jupiter April 20 (17:00) – 21 (09:15), 2021: Conjunction Uranus - Mercury and the Sun Third: The expected sunspot from April 22 has X flare potential: April 22 (06:15) April 21 (11:30) – 24 (14:15), 2021 Triple Line Up Uranus – Venus - Earth April 15 (16:00) - 22 (07:15), 2021 Triple Line Up Vesta – Venus – Chiron April 22 (06:15) – (18:30), 2021: Conjunction Venus - Mercury and the Sun April 22 (15:00) - 28 (13:30), 2021 Triple Line Up Vesta – Venus – Ceres April 23 (09:00) - 25 (04:30), 2021 Triple Line Up Uranus – Mercury – Earth Unused April 26 (08:00) – May 14 (01:45), 2021 Triple Line Up Vesta – Mercury – Chiron Unused Fourth: Sunspot 2817 is way stronger then expected Conclusion: the Northern field has reached the Terminator! Hey, and in conclusion with your theory, then if that is going to happen between June or July, what did you say or not? What happens to that part of the theory in conjunction with that, what happens? Patrick Geril First we watch the new sunspot with X flare potential: I think it started yesterday by splitting of from sunspot 2816. The Triple Uranus – Venus - Earth activated it on April 21 in the afternoon. We will know tomorrow or at the latest on April 24. Otherwise we have to wait a day to see on the GONG farside image if a strong sunspot appears there. My guess is that it has >X5 potential.
