Philalethes Posted July 22, 2023 Share Posted July 22, 2023 (edited) Another M-flare from this one, looks to have produced a slow-moving eruption that doesn't appear to be Earth-directed. Edit: According to these the eruption was actually from the far side, occurring almost simultaneously: Sympathetic flares I would guess, certainly looked like the two we saw were. It does make sense that the eruption was from something else in any case, since the flare(s) didn't look very eruptive.
