Marcel de Bont
Not yet Beta-Gamma-Delta but if the penumbra here ''merges'' with each other it will become a delta structure. The group has been growing nicely and if it continues to develop at this rate and it becomes more complex we should for sure keep an eye on it but I don't see it producing M-class flares yet. We want mixed magnetic polarities and even better if umbra spots of opposite polarities are in close proximity of each other. 13 minuten geleden, Solarflaretracker200 zei: But Beta Gamma Deltaās can just do nothing as well š¤·āāļø Ā Very true, Beta-Gamma-Delta groups have the potential to produce strong (M-class) or sometimes even major (X-class) solar flare but it is never a guarantee. Not all BGD groups are created equal!
