To discuss the CME's travel or impacts on Earth, please move to this thread in the geomagnetic activity forums.
Thanks!

does someone know how often solar demon is updated? :)

Usually about 15 minutes but sometimes it takes longer. I usually wait until I can see it here before coming to conclusions about the CME.

And we've been so well behaved.  No one asserted that the conjunction of the Sun, Jupiter, and Venus was the reason for the high activity from AR3664.  Such restraint deserves a kudos!

This region is amazing. Here's the development from May 4th to today. Stabilized.

Well, do us a favor and stop posting about it here over and over again, especially not using that nonsensical terminology that we all know where originates. We've already addressed it countless times

I never trust directions from AIA, I always wait for coronagraph images. There's almost always a direction where the CME leads to. I also see it goes southward, but I don't disqualify this yet to be a full halo, especially it's still close to center disk.

thanks calder. :)

in 94A i can see stuff go rather all directions but i dont know what that means for bulks, etc.

the region should still be near CM

and in 195 i can see dimming too i just dont know if its "good"

X-ray flux is rising again. Going for double peak X flare?

i hate waiting for suvi. i HATE it. :D

I remember my life before I met  spaceweatherlive and became addict to it, it was something else. Ok  we will reach an x flare soon

Edit : peaked at M9.86 too bad

I think it’s going to stop right before hitting the X mark

So same, I was a normal human being now everywhere when I see 3590 or X1 or G2 or so I get a neuron activation

Yesterday it was 12 hours of m Flux, now we're looking at an hour of near x Flux. Crazy. Do we bring up the c word event tentatively right now?

That's a good thing I think lol

Hahaha. It looks like motion blur, but that can't be it.

I used up all my likes. Need to buy more.

That second rise shot out a second faster CME 😎

If 3664 fails, it’ll always try again, what a perseverant sunspot group

Looks like it mostly went to the west though unfortunately

I don’t mind waiting a few minutes for SUVI, it’s the horribly long wait for LASCO that drives me crazy! 😆

Yes, it was me, it was blurry at 22:13 UTC. Not very important anyways, lets continue and focus on the big juicy flares (answer to @MinYoongi, forgot to quote sorry)

lasco is pretty fast today :o and stereo is always there

Just for fun/context, by my math, between 3663 and 3664, the UV flux has registered above M-class nearly 45% of the time during the last three days, and almost 25% of the time during the last seven.  Pretty neat.
