It is a rough estimation with the travel time and where we may be impacted. It would be fairly similar to the filament eruption as well, a little over 2 days of travel and it reached G3.

beta-delta now

CME?

i wonder why it produces M-Class flares.. not looking complex in sdo

it had a few small deltas for last day or two, which now merged into one

i dont see a delta? Could you point it out for me. sorry

No deltas anymore, it had 2-3 small ones earlier, still managed to produce a bigger flare than previous ones.

ah, thanks. i thought i'm blind.

how did it produce the flare while losing complexity? Or did it lose them after the flare? :)

Nah, deltas were gone already before this flare, they were really tiny so not sure if those even contributed to any of the activity, might just be overall in the region and not the deltas themselves that produce these flares.

got it.

i can see some dimming in suvi but im not sure there is a cme produced, not sure if its earth directed (looks southward-filamenty and rather local to me) what do you think?

i don't think so, but they gonna disappear soon

I wouldn't call those deltas anymore

Too minor for me to even care 😅

The M4 flare I'd say was moderately eruptive, wouldn't quite say major.

Oh yeah, does look like there was an eruption after all from looking at LASCO.

Unfortunately it's a short duration impulsive flare, so don't expect much from it

Do you think? Is length such an important factor? I may have always pushed it aside

And? Some glancing blow?

In this case length is important 😂 short duration events often don’t launch CME’s, only long duration events can generate great CMEs. But there’s always a possibility but short durations don’t launch much if they have some CME. Dimming wasn’t that great either so that confirms it as well.

ah!

On another note, i dont know where this Region gets its power from. Magnetic layout looks even more boring than yesterday?!

Now im confused. is there CME now?

Doesn't look like it, the eruption from the first one seems to have been heading south-"east"; you can see it on LASCO around 20:30 yesterday (September 19).

Yeah, that's what I thought about the impulsive flare yesterday too, but it did actually have a small eruption. Doesn't look like much from this one though, but I guess LASCO will tell eventually.
