Archive data question (ARs)

Greetings dear SWL people,

I'm looking for individual active regions' evolution data. What you already provide is gorgeous (for example, https://www.spaceweatherlive.com/en/solar-activity/region/13387.html), but I wonder if an archive of more than one AR at a time exists. I.e. can these data be downloaded in some way other than giving the AR number by hand in the URL? I guess this also means that the data would be in a more machine-friendly format.

Thanks in advance for any support that you can rpovide,

Helen

That doesn’t exist. We do have summary of all AR for a given day with links to the AR page with its evolution.

Thanks Sander for the reply. (And for your archive and overall site!)

Hi Helen, I'm not sure it is exactly what you want, but I sometimes refer to this SQL database.

http://helio.mssl.ucl.ac.uk/hec/hec_gui_free.php?sql=select+*+from+noaa_active_region_summary+where+nar%3D13331

It seems to have a bit of a problem at the moment as it repeats data for each AR.

I guess it is fairly obvious, but you just modify the nar number and submit for each AR you wish to inspect.

Thanks a lot Mike,

Yes, actually I found out this database and downloaded the relevant data. But unfortunately they extend back to only 2010...
