Yeah, must be. Can't see anything else that would have caused it, and it fits with the position too.

From looking at the latest LASCO imagery it looks like the CME had a speed of almost 2000 km/s; an estimate of ~14 Solar diameters in 3 hours as per C3 would yield ~1800 km/s, but that's eyeballing it on my part.

From SolO it doesn't look like it was more than an M-flare even from the other side; admittedly it's not that from the limb from that view either, but it should have been well within view if there were any X-flare. Oh well, would've expected a stronger flare, but as we know that's not always the case.
