AbeH
I seen on the main website that the chance of flares is on the rise? also radio storms from jupiter? Is that a common thing? Will it be a new source for radio storms?
Maxime Fiset
Dunno for Jupiter, don't think so. But region 2403 seems active and gave us two M-flares today. 5% probability to hit the X-class. I'm keeping an eye on this one =)
Vancanneyt Sander
Region 2403 continues it's development (read our news story on the main page!) and the background X-ray flux is rising with multiple M-class flares. Although small, the latest is getting more interesting M2.2 but was too short to launch a CME (When LASCO is available for the current timeframe we'll know for sure) @AbeH Jupiter doesn't give off radiation, only the Sun does
