Marcel de Bont
SpaceWeatherLive Report M1.8 solar flare May 6, 2014 Solar activity reached moderate levels for the first time since 2014/04/18 thanks to departing active region 2051. It was the source of a long duration M1.8 (R1-minor) solar flare that peaked at 09:03 UTC. The flare occurred at S12W90 (at the western limb) which means that if it produced a Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) it is likely directed away from Earth. Guest Jose Ignacio
Un autre eu lieu dans la région même à 22,01 heures. C'était classe M1.
Marcel de Bont
The region indeed produced another M1 flare yesterday just after 22:00 UTC but as it was on the limb it is not of interest anymore. :)
