''Down the line'' look of a filament

This is a video which shows something really beautiful. Normally we see filaments from above but this one is crossing the western limb and that makes it possible to look at it from behind. Like you are watching it ''down the line''. This is not a unique event but it looks really good in to the SDO/AIA 304 Angstrom wavelength. You can clearly see how the filament twists and roles while it’s magnetically anchored into place and lifted above the solar surface. A very special sight! The video covers a time-span of about 36 hours. Incredible!
