Tim De Blanck Posted March 18, 2013 Share Posted March 18, 2013 SpaceWeatherLive Report Analysis of the Solar Activity March 17th, 2013 Yesterday, there was a filament eruption near a new area that has yet to recieve a numer (see magnetogram). It was a weak B8 eruption that blasted an Earth directed CME into space. LASCO images show a beautiful halo CME. The speed of the CME was around 300km/sec which is slow.
