Yeah, seems so indeed. Would be extremely unlikely to take a hit from anything at this point anyway, so I guess we're waiting for whatever the next interesting region will be now.

Another crazy trip around the Sun. Here is region 3697 this rotation. Even if 3697 doesn't make a return, there is activity bubbling up all around it.

So much movement and little pores, reminds me of AR3576 from February.

probably the wrong thread or im looking a the wrong thing but, 

 Lasco C3 shows the beginnings of a CME in its last images ( timestamped 0:142) but there is no associated spike that i can see in the Xray Flux? does this mean Farside event?

May I ask you, if AR3697 continues to produce strong flares today, tomorrow, in a week, will we be able to somehow see them happening? Thank you.

Eh, one here isn't there isn't bad is some situations.

It In this case it looks to be a slow northeast disk filament eruption. And Earth arrival doesn't seem likely with how slow it is.

Even if 3697 falls apart on the far side, a large area around the region looks primed for new activity. We'll just need to wait and see once it comes back around.

Yep, roughly 28 days per rotation.

The X12 flare on 20th May and the resulting radiation storm was recorded on Mars by Curiosity's camera.

I noticed that we got a fresh blast of type Ii and iv radio waves a bit earlier so I figured something must have flared pretty strong !

Once again a flare behind the limb, what is it with this region and it's obsession for limb flares?

STIX detected an X3 on 11.06 at 22:38. This was probably the source of the CME.

Predicted NOAA Scale: S1 - Minor

Pretty good prediction with 10MeV above 10pfu!

I wonder where we can spot it on Stereo A?
