I didn't take that comment as he meant it's earth directed..

I have only watched the EIT waves and that they reach the equator (where earth is). We will have to wait on LASCO though. I do think we will get some though.

And we've been so well behaved.  No one asserted that the conjunction of the Sun, Jupiter, and Venus was the reason for the high activity from AR3664.  Such restraint deserves a kudos!

This region is amazing. Here's the development from May 4th to today. Stabilized.

Well, do us a favor and stop posting about it here over and over again, especially not using that nonsensical terminology that we all know where originates. We've already addressed it countless times

last lasco pics are from 5h ago idk what youre looking at but its not this cme

...Man, resisting the urge to not check YouTube or any social media just got harder with this almost-X9 flare (and it'll be harder as the cycle continues). I mean, I put actually knowledgeable people in a list on Twitter, but still. 😓

Dear AR3664, Thank you for the grand farewell. And when you cross the other side, we'll be waiting for you here. Before you decide to end your wanderings, you are always welcome at our side.

What's the typical lifespan of those big delta regions ? Is it likely to see her again in 15 days or just a possibility ?

Deltas can live for several weeks if they are strong but they usually decay and then new pops up if it's an active region. I really really hope it stays this awesome.

Actually it might, like the 2017 one but will most likely not result in any G1 or above storming but you never know.

You are correct in that but the waves are still a bit promising. The parker spiral will help as well.

LASCO will be interesting.

Then again none can be 100% sure so we just have to wait a few days to see.

are the waves mild or strong?

like, what type of impact do they predict?

Never mind, just got reminded of why I shouldn't go on there. People thinking these storms are cover-stories for political discourse.

Anyway, I saw the NOAA post about the CME not being earth-directed, so let's see if that holds water.
