Sayveon Barber
I’m a worrywart and sense AR3615 is coming back around and it seems bigger should I be worried about any problems with a cme hitting the grid
Vancanneyt Sander
Who says it is bigger? We don’t have any satellite on the far side of the sun so there’s no way of knowing! there haven’t been major farside CMEs so activity on the farside isn’t huge. our grid is protected to withstand the ground induced currents produced during extreme geomagnetic storming. conclusion: NOTHING to worry about!

The Perseverance rover shoots white light images every now and then, AR3615 looks massive on those. But you're right though, nothing to worry about! But you're right though, nothing to worry about! Images from mars, that’s even further away and not a good source for good solar imagery… the lack of big farside eruptions says enough, none of the farside regions are eruptive so don’t expect huge complex regions because of that. Simple…
