Did you have the page open for a while, then later click on the image?

Not only that but the x6 flare has been removed from chart. Radio blackouts haven't been updated in over an hour

The primary GOES 16 satellite was down briefly for 2 hours as the primary satellite, and the SWPC happened to switch GOES 18 to primary just after GOES 16 data started coming back in.

The radio blackouts image is a SWPC product, so that would be something on their end or you might need to reload your page.

Image as first viewed on webpage: spacer.png

Image after you click on it, you get below, different image different timestamp.

spacer.png

That image on the solar activity page is directly pulled from the SOHO website and isn't cached on our server. So the browser and app request the image from the SOHO server. So we can't do anything to make sure it gets updated on a page visit unless we would cache it on our own server and set a shorter lifetime for the image. On the site the 512px image is used to keep it fast, when clicking it's the 1024px. So the browser has saved the 512px in its cache based on the SOHO server, when you click the bigger picture that hasn't been cached and the browser will request the latest image and then cache it again. The cache is controlled by the SOHO server, not us.

Both GOES 16 and 18 x-ray flux are charted on NOAA's website if you're interested to look. 18 picked up the 6.37 flare.
