There doesn't look like a topic for the region is created, so you can rename the topic to AR3516 if you want. Anything from the region can go in it.

It looks like it might be a filament eruption on the edge of the region. Not expecting much from the CME, but we'll see soon.

It turns out to be a CME associated with a flare from the AR3416 region at 21:12UTC. I saw photos from SOHO but the data is incomplete. It looks like a partial halo

I just noticed the CME as well. It's weak on LASCO or there might be a data error for that time. There is dimming though that stretches up to the middle of the sun.

I saw MET office has posted a model of it with a maximum kp of 4-5 and an arrival time of December 20. https://kauai.ccmc.gsfc.nasa.gov/CMEscoreboard/

I don't know about it, but maybe it's a solar prominence that didn't exceed the escape velocity
