Yes, the positive field seems to be moving toward the west, and under the negative field. Synoptic maps from 4th, 5th and 7th show field development.

Looking at the latest photospheric map from WSO there is very clearly some rotation in that area when comparing the map from Jul11 with one for Aug 06. Also a fair bit of development in the Northern hemisphere, and in Carrington longitudes 0 to 90.

That's pretty interesting, it does look like it's twisting up.

As for the AR it looks like the positive part didn't really end up growing much though, but there are still some tiny positive spots present.

Agreed, it does not look very promising at the moment - but it has some time to develop before getting to the limb!
