Hi, I've noticed that the Solar Cycle Progression - Sunspot number and Historical cycles plots seem to be missing data.

IS flex, seems SILSO updated the locations of the data again. Predictions of SILSO aren't available anymore (can only be downloaded from SILSO directly but we can't integrate them anymore due to change in their policy)

Meaning, it would have to be done manually, or we can’t show that data at all?

Would be manually updating the files as we can’t automate it anymore (it’s restricted to the SILSO site only, thus we can’t automatically retrieve it)

Seems like a pretty worthwhile thing to do, once a month. Sad it can’t be automated, but it should be reasonable to just do it manually, maybe?

Data still needs to be processed, it’s not just save the files on our server manually. I could make an adjustment to it so it processes the downloaded files but it’s still not ideal. But for now I can’t do anything as the files are inaccessible currently.

There is possibly data from FTP as well, FTP anonymous : omaftp.oma.be, directory: dist/astro/sidcdata

From https://www.sidc.be/sunspots/bulletins/monthly/monthlybull202304.pdf

Thanks for pointing that one out! That did the trick 😉 Data is available again.

Historical Cycles page is still not working for me

That’s due to caching (either your local cache or our graph cache). Raw data is feeded on our server ready for when server cache expires. But your local cache may have for that graph an expiration date of 7 days as that data isn’t frequently updated.

I suspect it's the server cache; at least emptying my cache didn't get me any graphs. But if it's fixed it's just a matter of time anyway.
