Un-Numbered spot

So the sun spot pair just below at to the left of 3256 has no number yet it is apparently adding to mix of the three presently numberd spots why and can it be numbered for future reference.

The western(right) and center spots are region 3256, there being a bit of a gap. The northeastern(top left) spots are region 3259 and southeastern(bottom left) are region 3257.

It’s numbered, it’s just not labeled correctly on the Intensitygram. Check out the Synoptic Map under sunspot regions here:

Okay that makes the definition clearer. I am new to looking at the details and it was not seemingly labeled. Thanks for the detailed reply.
