Popular Post Sam Warfel
Welcome to my first ever yearly aurora chasing/photography recap! 2022 has been an amazing year for me as an aurora chaser and photographer, with over 80% of my sightings dating from this year! I only started chasing in late 2020, so this year saw tremendous learning and growth in this niche, complex, but fascinating pursuit! This is my full length year recap with narration and explanations for everything, plus some backstory. A no-talking just images version is coming soon! Thank you so much to everyone that's helped me learn how to chase the aurora! A special thank you goes to my friend and fellow local chaser @Flareguy18, and Melissa F. Kaelin and the Michigan Aurora Chasers group on Facebook for opening my eyes to the wealth of information and fellow midwestern chasers. See you out there in 2023! Vancanneyt Sander
Well I enjoyed that very much! Nice imagery and very nice to see the progress you’ve made as a chaser and photographer. I also love your Timelapses 🥰. hope 2023 gives you many more amazing chases and even better pictures! halfway February I’ll be chasing again after almost 4 years (2019). As a Belgian I don’t have much opportunities so I’ll be travelling northward visiting Marcel in Kiruna and do a short trip with hopefully many chases in a short time ☺️
