WildWill Posted December 30, 2022 Share Posted December 30, 2022 Howdy All Y’all! It appears that AR 3179 kicked out 4 C class flares today… it appears to have fizzled out the last couple of days. I don’t see any spots associated with it although it apparently had 4 this morning. AR3179 was only assigned a number by SWPC yesterday (29th). Jan Alvestad at Solen.info had given the region an identity (S8131) on the 28th, but it was very small and insignificant.
