If ya go back into the LASCO Archives and look at 2022-11-04: 14:00, you’ll find a similar comet,, but approaching from SSW. It burned up around 2022-11-6 17:00. As it was being boiled at the bottom of the sun, two asteroids approached the east limb, just above the equator, moving retrograde, parallel to the plane of the ecliptic. This was immediately followed by another comet from the south. The small comets are fragments of a super comet that came apart thousands of years ago. There’s a coup,e of posts on here from it, but don’t remember where… 11-6 @17:00 GMT the big one burned up. Apparently a fairly common occurrence and according to the data points available so far this year, not early as elusive as the x-flare! ;-).
