farm24
i just saw this CME ejected over the eastern limb, it could be from a Filament liftoff but there was a couple of bright loops that shot up after on SDO AIA, so i'm guessing it was from an AR. once again sorry if this was already another topic Edited September 26, 2022 by farm24 image formatting, and clarification

Solution Jesterface23 Posted September 26, 2022 Solution Share Posted September 26, 2022 (edited) It doesn't look to be with any sunspot region from SA, so it is probably associated to the prominence seen from SDO. Agree. Had quite the widespread effect too across the SE of the disk when it erupted too if you run back SDO Angstroms 193/211.

The difference being the prominence is on the limb and viewed viewed against the darkness of space. Filaments are visible on the disk itself. Cheers.
