Strom
I'm learning .... thought the blue area above the red would make it delta.

Only if it has a spot within the penumbral area of the red spots. In actuality, the blue area does not have a spot, and it’s not within the penumbra of the red, it hardly even has a penumbra at all. Archmonoth
Is this spot the source or possible source of the current radio type 2 and type 4 emissions? 3064/NW side is pretty bright on the SOHO Possible CME on the farside?

Flareguy18
Look on GOES-16 SUVI, the Type II and IV sweeps tonight are almost certainly caused by the eruption seen at center disk tonight. The impressive CME directed off to the NE likely was something different. We should hopefully get a look at what happened at center disk here in a few hours (PLEASE be good to us LASCO ) https://www.swpc.noaa.gov/products/goes-solar-ultraviolet-imager-suvi#:~:text=The GOES 16 and 17,hot outer atmosphere%2C or corona.

Saw a filament erupt earlier but i think it was a south one so i doubt its the source but i still wanted to mention that
Sam Warfel
The source of the CME was a flare from AR3060, let’s move discussion of it to its thread
