Popular Post Archmonoth
I'll start the new forum off with some links I commonly reference. These are links which have been helpful for me to understand the Sun, its barycenter and some ideas which are similar among a few threads. (At the time of this post) First is the Inverse Square Law, which is addresses a common misconception about energy, light, and gravity being infinite. The Inverse Square Law is helpful for me since it can show whenever you double the distance from a source, the intensity is reduced by a factor of 4: Inverse-square law - Wikipedia Microsoft Word - solarsystem_barycenter.doc (wmich.edu) How the barycenter is affected by different planets: 1706.01854.pdf (arxiv.org) Angular momentum changes and solar activity. Gravity, rosettes and inertia (blackholeformulas.com) Gravitational forces and masses of planets in the solar system. Lagrange point - Wikipedia Where satellites can/are be placed in the solar system. https://uvs-model.com/The case study for the barycenter drivers of the solar cycle (1).pdf A case study for planetary alignments driving the barycenter. Absorption / reflection of sunlight - Understanding Global Change (berkeley.edu) How Solar radiation is absorbed and reflected. If you have seen these links already, thank you for tolerating this post. Edited June 19, 2022 by Archmonoth 3
