  • Sam Warfel changed the title to Regions 2978/2981

@Solarflaretracker200 i think the current activity is from this region

Sorry for the not so HQ pic. Took a quick Screenshot.

Update:

I do not know if Goes can be "trusted" right now because in SUVI our Region seems to dim, and 2975 seems to be exploding so i dont know if the Xray Flux is rising due to that?

Another update: yup! Called it! Its Region 2979 with a huge Explosion. Anyone else following?

The current flare is a collaboration between 2975 and 2984 it seems. There is no region with number 2979. 2981 and 2978 aren't as impressive anymore but 2781 still has some potential.

Sorry i confused them and got em all wrong. Could it be 2984 only?

Didnt 2781 decay but the region above it grew according to noaa?

The flare is so large it seems to be connected to both 2984 and 2975.

I dont know what NOAA says about them I just look at SDO images now but both of them are not as impressive as I hoped for. 2981 could produce a low-level M-flare but that's it

Well actually I think 2976 is also in on the action, all three regions.
