Sam Warfel
This morning we got a type II radio emission. What caused this? A filament eruption? Or that little C4 flare?
Vancanneyt Sander
The C4 occurred in spotless region 2971 which currently has one spot 😜 The coronal dimming was moderate and a type II sweep indicated also that a coronal mass ejection might be possible. No MASCO imagery yet but it’s in an interesting position so it’s good to take a look later when imagery is available from LASCO.

I’ll keep an eye out for LASCO.
Marcel de Bont
The CME that was released is so slow, faint and probably not earth-directed so it isn't even worth mentioning I am afraid.
