Cause of radio emission?

The C4 occurred in spotless region 2971 which currently has one spot 😜

The coronal dimming was moderate and a type II sweep indicated also that a coronal mass ejection might be possible. No MASCO imagery yet but it’s in an interesting position so it’s good to take a look later when imagery is available from LASCO.

Hmm, interesting from such a tiny spot. I’ll keep an eye out for LASCO.
