Solarflaretracker200
On this archive for AR 2936 https://www.spaceweatherlive.com/en/solar-activity/region/12936.html it says it was a beta-gamma-delta two days ago. But i remember it wasn't and it was a beta-gamma-delta yesterday. Is this accurate info or was it really two days ago and the two days just flew by? Just wanting to make sure to it's accurate info for everyone 🙂

These groups morph around so quickly they can change their magnetic configuration in a matter of hours. If we wrote the info to the archive at the end of the UTC day and NOAA changed it to BGD just before we did that, that's what goes into the archive for that day. Sander knows more about this so he can correct me on that if needed. 1
Vancanneyt Sander
Seems like SWPC downgraded it just before midnight on the 30th to beta. I've changed it back to BGD as it clearly had a delta spot the last time we generated sunspot region images.
3gMike
Helio HEC have classified it as Beta every day at 00:00 UTC http://helio.mssl.ucl.ac.uk/hec/hec_gui_free.php?sql=select+*+from+noaa_active_region_summary+where+nar%3D12936 SWL Archive of Sunspot Regions shows it as BGD for 29th and 30th SWL Archive of Solar Flares colour codes the region as green for all flares (I believe that means it was a Beta at the time the flare was recorded)
