Mute threads?

Is it possible to mute certain threads or areas of the forums?
There are some very active threads I do not wish to have to keep visiting to clear the unread indicators.

Unfollow the discussion maybe? There's a button above the OP, idk if that would work.

I meant like mute it so the name of it and all the levels of forum above that don't go bold.
I read everything, but if I don't want to read a particular topic, and it's also a very active one, it's annoying to have to load it all the time to clear the unread indicator

Once you checked the topics you wanted to read, go to the top right if you’re in mobile to open the menu and then “mark everything as read” so with one click all topics that where bold (unread) aren’t bold anymore. On the desktop you can find it on the community start page in the bottom right corner.

There is also the more direct UnRead Content link that shows the actual unread threads, not just bolding the forums containing unread content.
