During New Moon, Sun and Moon align together to cause higher tides on ocean, I would like to know on whether this condition cause thicker atmosphere or not in sky.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance

I don't think so, mountains for example don't cause the atmosphere to be thicker, the space compresses, and polarizes between high and low pressures. This is most noticeable around the Himalayas and Tibet. Regarding the tides and the Moon: the water is about 1 meter (3 feet) higher at the tidal bulge, which does not cause enough difference in altitude for the atmosphere to be displaced by any measurable amount. Normally the highest waves are in the Earth's southern hemisphere, and range from 11-14 meters. (33-45 feet)

I hope this answers your question.
