How to decouple Facebook login from your SpaceWeatherLive Community account

If you coupled Facebook after creating an account on the SpaceWeatherLive Community

If you don't want to use the social login with Facebook/Twitter, it's possible to delete the link with Facebook by following these instructions:

• Make sure you are logged into SpaceWeatherLive Community forum
• Click on your user name in the right top corner
• Click "Account settings"
• Click on "Facebook"/"Twitter"
• Click the red button "Log off" 

Facebook/Twitter will now be removed from your account, next time you want to log in, use your e-mail and password. As always you can request a new password if you haven't remembered your password.

If you registered on SpaceWeatherLive Community directly with your Facebook account

In this case, you can't decouple your Facebook/Twitter account from your SpaceWeatherLive Community account. You'll need to register with a new account and send the administrators a message to merge your old coupled Facebook/Twitter account with your new SpaceWeatherLive Community account. The old coupled Facebook/Twitter account will then be deleted.

If you want to delete your SpaceWeatherLive Community account

In accordance to the GDPR you have the right to be forgotten which means you can request the removal of your personal data. The removal of your personal data (username, e-mail, personal preferences and linked accounts) can be requested by following the next steps:

Desktop

• Click on our username in the right top corner to open the menu on desktop
• Click on 'Account settings'
• Click on 'Security and Privacy'
• Confirm it's you by entering your password
• Click 'Account deletion' to request your account to be removed'

Mobile

• Tap in the right top corner to open the menu
• Tap 'Account' and tap 'Account settings'
• Tap on 'Settings zone' to open the menu and tap 'Security & Privacy'
• Confirm it's you by entering your password
• Click 'Account deletion' to request your account to be removed'

When processing your request, we will ask you to confirm data deletion to verify the validity of the request. Any posts made onto the community forum will be anonimized and your account and personal data wille be removed.
