Christopher S.
There are many neat and interesting metrics to look at and analyze that directly involve our Sun, but indirectly, it also has spurned forth what I believe is a great welcome party for SC25! I'm curious to know if the numbers here have grown significantly or only slightly, as in the number of members and comments. Perhaps we can reflect on what brought more eyes to the sky, so to speak? Did the pandemic/quarantines cause more people to get on their phones and computers to learn about the universe? Is the visibility of SpaceX's exploits causing more people to wonder about outer space? Are the fearmongers on YT getting really out of hand? Share speculation and/or data here! Vancanneyt Sander
The more solar and auroral activity the more activity on the forum in the solar minimum the forum was pretty quiet and no it’s a lot more active just like the sun. I’ve made this little graph that puts the member activity on the forum in relation to the time since solar minimum, it’s growing like the solar cycle Plus SWL is still growing each year and each year we can celebrate new records that are broken. 2
