Je souhaiterais savoir à partir de quelle date les premiers satellites ont-ils pu prédire qu'une EMC se dirige vers la terre et calculer la vitesse EMC/kmS.

I guess it was when SOHO was launched, that was in 1996. Trace in 1998 Beaufort also some new insights and later with Hinode. It’s still a shame we only rely on SOHO for coronagraph imagery

Thanks a lot, I found  2december 1995 for SOHO and 2006 for STEREO.

It hasn’t got a coronagraph 🤷‍♂️ It’s scheduled for the next generation GOES satellite (GOES-U code name) with an expected launch for 2024

Oh right, sorry, got the term confused. Neat, I hadn't looked into the GOES-U series! That will be a nice resource.
