JoeLudwig
Interesting events As I was able to observe several times, extremely weak radiant powers were followed by those with significantly higher intensity in the short term. Does anyone here have an explanation for such events? https://www.swpc.noaa.gov/products/goes-x-ray-flux-dynamic-plot
Vancanneyt Sander
I don’t see anything out of the ordinary. We see a normal x-ray background flux with some very minor upticks by a small region. When regions get more active, the energy is a lot higher, check some graphs in our archive to get an idea of what solar activity can be (or look at the top flare list on the site to find some interesting days of solar activity)
