Been slowly making a simple NE limb video and finally decided to finish it last night as JSOC will be down for 6 hours for maintenance to fix data gaps.

Duty cycle 0.80, not really reliable anymore, most of it is just some random mess. The lower the duty cycle the worse the accuracy, you can see the number at the top left corner ^^

And now with SolO being at the farside we have a much more reliable source anyways

Yup. Also it is worth noting that presently there is good activity on Eastern limb around 25 degrees south. Particularly what look like PEAs. In 193 ang view anyway. Any hope is welcomed by me. 😊

There's a new sunspot group on tHopefully it’s EKC or better or over 700 mh with a nice group of deltas or perhaps a rude inversion line traversing it. Getting impatient here for those X-10 plus due us.

So it is. Sure isn’t South 06. 😊. Good catch

LOL, I'm itching for those legendary X10+ flares. It would be nice during the summer to have a large BGD Cluster region like that.

We especially like the idea of multiple deltas with a rude inversion layer!

Hopefully, this summer holds potential for strong flares and Earth-directed CMES wishful thinking, but well see also another strong c flare occurring now likeing the uptick compared to before when we hit B6.73.

big burst from 4082.

Yup. When ya need shades to view 131 Å. It’s a good thing🤣

lol surprised that burst didn't hit M1 it was quite bright.

what could be causing this sudden "activation" of 4082?

a bit of intruding opposite polarity spots intruding with the other spots next to the leader.

Yeah. Also it looked like the entire group was involved.

Dr. Skov posted a Youtube video few hours ago with more farside imagery. She particularly mentions to keep an eye on the old 4064 has grown with some activity to rotate to limb in about 5 days. She then points out regions 4072, 4076 and a new region are about 10 days from rotate to limb.

Lol only the Universe knows. I think it'll be quite a beautiful experience-- btw where did 4096 go? LAst time I saw it it looked like it was screaming to come out LOL "release me you FOETONS" XD

We have a Developing Sunspot Region on the farside about 4° degrees east of the center disk seems Already a bit Complex we'll see in Tomorrow's run but we should start having more Flare activity soon 2025 is not done with those active Region's that spew almost constant M flares on the Disk this should just be a temporary lull Hopefully that Region shows some Promise.solo_LL02_phi-fdt-icnt_last.png

My calculations:

B-YX^2 + Heliocentric Output 2.1918192 = Carrington Event Incoming: 05/15/2025 5:55 PM AKST +- 2.2

Hi! What does this formula mean? Translated into my language, it looks like a Carrington-like event will happen again on May 15.

🤣🤣🤣 anyway @Samrau Hopefully 🙏 But we finally have something on the limb of hope now that 4079 left us after insulting us one last time. One in the north and something so close to equator I dunno which SH it wants to occupy.
