i wonder what is causing this region to "wake up" all of a sudden

There is barely something in lasco. or am i missing something?

I think we provoked the sun so much with our "how boring" and "nothing happens" that it said nah heck it let's rapid fire again

This region is a little too off from center to give us a direct blow though right? We are hoping for glancing blows at best?

I mean depending on how wide the CME would be we could still take a direct hit. 

CMEs can still directly hit us even if the region it originated from is not directly in front of us.

Yeah but the chance slims the more it moves.

The big red region seems to be the hotspot, it's quite surrounded by blue regions

But they didn’t strike me as super complex or anything.. that’s why I’m wondering
