Benny - the left side of the sun is the east side and the right side is the west - look at the latest synoptic map and you will see you have the two reversed AR3700 is at S04W35 (the right side of the sun) AR3701 is at S04E32 (the LEFT side of the sun and left of AR3697) 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
hamateur 1953 Posted June 1 Share Posted June 1 @BasedBenny @Justanerd is absolutely correct. We also know it might seem a silly convention like RED for a negatively polarized region.
