Regarding the sunspot that's just threw an X 2.9 out on the east limb (not numbered as yet) judging by the progressive rise that we saw from 3664 (and obviously still rising) this beast could be hurling in excess of X5s by the time it gets around to halfway. It looks NASTY and I haven't even seen it yet 😳 but I reckon another beta/gamma/delta is on the horizon 🧐
