Is er eens kans op noorderlicht in de nacht van 12 op 13 mei?

Wat maakt de kans klein vandaag, gezien de gunstige KP-index?

 

De Kp-index waar je naar kijkt is waarschijnlijk een voorspelling. De huidige Kp is 3 en de zonnewind / IMF waardes zijn op de snelheid na, erg laag en absoluut niet voldoende voor de Benelux. Dit kan veranderen mocht er een CME aankomen maar zoals het er nu uit ziet is die kans zeer gering voor vanavond/vannacht.
