Would it potentially Trigger a G3 Strong Geomagnetic storm

It would pretty much need to launch first to get any idea of what it could produce, or these all might as well have a similar potential,

Oh my God, would you please be so kind and stop saying such nonsense all the time? A filament is definitely not to blame for Goes' data problems and that alone doesn't fit in terms of time. You alone

Yea They all do And Maybe if theres a Decent eruption It Might Come With a Awesome CME Directed Towards Earth Causing An Aurora Show But Time will tell.

Also BZ is Now Close To -10 Again :)

+ Another M Flare from AR 3889

Bz To The south And Sustaining -7+ Unexpected Activity Again.

There is a small filament breaking loose just below the large coronal hole on the north hemisphere.

Yup. Lifting off on latest imagery

Just briefly noticed, the eastern side of that southeast disk filament might be in the early stages of launching.

Its been in the gradual rise phase for a while now. There's been a few moments of instability due to the other productive solar activity that's been occuring.

Yep. It looks like it has has been on a slow rise since around /10 14Z-15Z.

It didn't get the memo that northeast disk filament got

Maybe if it lifts Off It could be Associated with a powerful Eruption.

Trying to lift but it needs a punch to finally erupt

Would be great if we had a good CME from 3889, and its material merged with the filament

Kinda Interesting The Suns Flare rate is At C1.73 Almost at The B flare Range

But Yeah I Think The Filament May Erupt Before It Crosses Away From The Earth Faceing Side.

How long could it take?  Do you mean 10th 14-15UTC? I’m a bit confused because of the 11. 🫣

Oh nice! Earth directed?

Yep. It's always the date mistypes

The large filament in the center of the disk which was shaped like the number 3 is making sudden movement and appears to be releasing.

I was looking at that one a while ago, it's so distinct!

Go go gadget go!

Finally! Thanks for the heads up! It's massive and dead center so it should be interesting to see what it can give us.

Amazing !! I've been looking forward to this one !

Something definitely moved on the lower part at 15:20 so hopefully as we get more frames from SDO or SUVI we can see if we had a lift off !!

You think there could be powerful eruption with this?

I'm not an expert but I do believe the filament that erupted near the west limb a few days ago was a similar size and created a very significant cme so it is definitely possible !

it looks to be lifting

awesome hope it gives us a good cme And maybe a awesome aurora show

Me too, I am not sure but I think when filaments erupt like this it is stronger than our usual solar flare cme

A good portion of our filament is lifting off, the majority looks to be directed south but an earth directed component is possible. Keep an eye on coronagraph data

I’m also seeing this. A lot of it looks to go south obviously but there’s also movement in the part that’s more earth facing. I don’t know if it’s collapsing back onto the sun or also ejecting. Maybe @Philalethes or @Jesterface23 know more since they’re more trained with their eyes 😁
