Can someone enlighten me as to the key to the solar flux index . Seems to fluctuate between 80 and 150 recently but sometimes it’s green and sometimes it red . What colour or number should I be looking for , for optimal radio conditions . Is there a magic combination for instance 150sf and Kpi1 ? Or visa versa or am I barking up wrong tree ? Thanks

The pic is an indication of optimal conditions for both SFI and Kp.

It's contained in the above article.

Some sites show the colours in reverse for SFI, where green is low, yellow is moderate and red is high. This is in relation to solar activity, not radio conditions.
