  1. I am new to monitoring Space Weather and to aurora imaging. During the magnificent outburst this past Friday (May 10, 2024) I was able to capture a few decent shots of the aurora. It was my first time photographing the northern lights and it was an awe inspiring experience. One of my images included a bright vertical light and I was wondering if it was the atmospheric phenomenon referred to as STEVE or if it was something else associated with the aurora. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
