Image of the chromosphere of the sun taken on March 10, 2021, the same day as the previous image. The picture was taken with a solar telescope and the overexposed part is covered with a black mask. A few small prominences are clearly visible in the edge area.

Hi,

Here, the Slooh Observatory solar telescope Lunts Solar Systems LS60T H-alpha telescope, located in the Canary Islands on the roadside, has been used.

Here in Tampere (Finland) Astronomical Association Tampere's Ursa has a similar telescope and in addition an LS100 T H-alpha telescope. The problem is the northern location, the sun is too low during the winter and the weather is almost always cloudy. In practice, the first observations here can be made in late March, so the use of a remote telescope further south is almost necessary.
