News Source Reliability as AR 3697 Faces Earth

Recently, I have noticed some News Articles (some, not all, listed below)* are spouting some concerning information about the possibility of a repeat of the May G5 Storm occurring in the early days of June as AR 3697 begins face Earth.

Is any of this information true, pertaining to the possibility of radio blackouts, aurorae, etc. occurring as they did during the Extreme G5 storm last month?
Furthermore, is it simply too early to tell whether an Earth-Directed CME will occur at all?

*List of Sources that contain the information described above:*

Newsweek: "Northern Lights Expected in US in June: Where and When Could Aurora Borealis Be Visible?"

Yahoo!: "The Northern Lights May Make a Comeback This Week In the US--Here's How to See Them"

Live Science: "Aurora's could paint Earth's skies again in early June. Here are the key nights to watch out for."
