A few days ago SWPC added a new region with a few spots, wrongfully designated and wrongfully numbered. But it seems SWPC can’t immediately delete it, the same day it arrived they tried to cover it up to change it with zero spots, but by doing that it keeps returning wrongfully USA a spotless place untill it turns over the limb.

Our favorite people, the IT engineers over at SWPC, making a mistake? I don't believe you!

Well… it ain’t the first mistake 😝 when we’ve build our solar flare and sunspot regions database we stumbled on a lot more mistakes 😝 a lot of corrections have been made to undo those. We also have a lot of checks in place with data processing from SWPC because there is also things that normally shouldn’t be there 🤷‍♂️.

But let’s be positive, anyone can have a bad day at work 😉

The sun it’s self would be one big sunspot lol

We'd start calling spots of non-sunspot the "sunspots" and tracking them instead 😂

indefinite Carrington event?

That wouldn't be such a fun time 😅  We'd lose all our internet and satellites and stuff

plus, if the auroras were everywhere all the time, they wouldn't be so interesting and cool anymore 😂

Then when no auroras happened we would be surprised 😆
