Marcel de Bont Posted October 10, 2021 Share Posted October 10, 2021 Might have been a far side solar flare yeah but like Sander said, CMEs like this or even stronger can occur multiple times a day all over the Sun during a proper solar maximum! Marcel de Bont Posted October 10, 2021 Share Posted October 10, 2021 Yeah STEREO B is a loss but there is another STEREO satellite. STEREO A. But both STEREO A and B are now approaching Earth again.
