Did the noaa yesterday register the strongest solar flare in history?

I know that I do not have to trust much about the youtube videos, but what he said seems very strange and doubtful, on my part, but yesterday the sunspot 2838 launched the strongest solar flare in history and crashed the internet in some countries? There is a news from the Nasa about that or is it a pure lie what the guy will say?

I'm sorry I was wrong and write noaa, instead of Nasa and if I put it in the wrong forum I'm also sorry, I didn't realize

Technically NASA is a customer of NOAA so either work here. And no, nothing like that happened. The strongest flares since the beginning of the human "space age" have been archived here on the website, and usually we know the flare's strength as soon as data comes in from the satellite so it's not as though we missed something

How many times do we have to repeat it: don’t watch those YouTubers… get the real info from the official sites and serious sites like SWL.

If such event would occur, you would have known by our alerts and graphs on the site/app. With the X-ray sensor stuck at X17 as that is the limit of the sensor. Strongest in recent history is the X28 November 4th 2003, what a great moment that was 😍

Yes, I know, I just look at him to see if he says something wrong, and I say what is really happening, because I really do not like that it scares people, but hey, I would like to make a youtube video, but not like that youtuber that dicer, if not, with real information but for that I need to learn, but for now I am replacing in the comments of the videos if you say something wrong

I'm very curious, as to why this Youtuber even thinks that? There wasnt even an X-Class Flare yesterday o:

Two far side CME's were detected yesterday most probably from sunspot 2838.

No idea what size flare caused it.

But as has already been mentioned above, nothing out of the ordinary was picked up by GOES 16 and the like.

I wouldn't waste my time even looking up the YouTube story.

Believe me, if the sun unleashed the mother of all solar flares,  it would be reported all over global mainstream news 😁

I don't know, I even asked him why did he get the information from, that from NASA he said and he did not answer, he only gave me a heart and he ignored me, he said that the internet collapsed in some countries that power was cut by the intensity of the flare Solar, and when I saw that then I said what happened? It cannot be that one day when I am not seeing the sun that happens, I was looking for news if he said about that or some friends if something happened with his internet until I saw the satellite, of goes, to see if there is a cme out of the ordinary, there was nothing, only one c, and well, it even seemed strange to me, and well seeing all of them, I doubted a lot, and that's why I wanted to ask you, to see if you knew happened, but no idea

Reacting and even watching these youtubers gives them the views they need to keep their visibility. Most of them won’t be reacting to comments that go against the content because it could harm their views. The only thing to stop them is reporting their videos to YouTube for fake news so they can block them.

if somewhere the internet fails, it’s likely the ISPs fault, or a construction worker that cut the cable, server failure, … the sun would be responsible for 0,00001% or even lower.

I know, I asked my friends and they said no, that everything was fine, then, thank you for informing me, it seems very bad that I inform people wrong, I remember when in 2017 there were videos that said that a solar storm would make a global blackout blah blah, we are here in 2021 and talked to you, but I decided to inform myself that it really is past and people And for now no one has deleted my comments, from which I said some that I avoided things, and I have responded well so well I only make a forum when I see something for me that is to matter to you or a question but we will be fine

A real threat is the panic that could result during a widespread power or internet blackout incorrectly attributed to a large solar storm when the actual cause and reason for the outage may be quite different.

There are sinister opportunists out there who may choose to time a cyberattack to shut down power grids and/or the internet to coincide with the arrival of a large solar storm as a smoke screen to create uncertainty and confusion and to provide plausible deniability for those responsible.  By recognizing and revealing such a tactic, we may defuse and thwart the efforts of those who would plan such an attack.

There is a risk that when the the crazy and speculative are allowed, then the plausible and the possible may sneak in as well.

This topic probably belongs in "Other" which I believe was created to allow such discussion without judgment as to the validity, certainty, or veracity of the content.

Solo un pensamiento, ¿ayudaría que haya una publicación fijada para el tema incierto de noticias falsas?

This is confirmed to be false news, but it is right, it would not help anything, it has a fixed publication, a false news, sorry for publishing this, forum but I am very doubtful
