If you look at the solar activity of the past 24 hours, you’ll see that the background flux started to decline a bit, indicating that the sunspot regions are getting calmer and indicate a possible decrease in activity and/or decay/less magnetic complexity in the region. It’s the life of a sunspot region… what goes up, must go down 

also, the region is nearing the limb making it impossible to get a good look on its magnetic complexity
